WATCH: This Sunday, He comes to Take Away Our Shame

Life seems to be unfair. People are plagued by shame and doubt and confusion, says Father Meinrad Miller OSB.

The readings for this Sunday, the Fifth Sunday of Lent (Year B) offer an answer: “Jesus will draw everyone to himself.”

Father Meinrad is a monk of St. Benedict’s Abbey and a theology instructor at Benedictine College. St. Benedict Abbey’s 60 Seconds for Sunday series looks at each upcoming Sunday’s readings.

The monks at the Abbey, along with the Benedictine Sisters at Mount St. Scholastica, are what make Benedictine College in Atchison, Kan., Benedictine.
