WATCH: Brief Videos Spotlight the Power of Catholic Artists

Below, watch the videos Denis McNamara, director of the Center for Beauty and Culture, created with Father Paul Porter of Atlanta’s Canaan Wine YouTube channel.

“After seeing a lot of discussion about beauty and art on Catholic discussion groups, Father Paul asked me to make an informal set of videos with my phone during the COVID lockdowns,” McNamara said. “You will notice I have some serious ‘COVID hair’ in some of them!”

He hopes the videos  “add to the discussion about what an artist is from the Catholic point of view, how to think about beauty and to analyze a particular example.” Watch below or click to watch The Catholic Artist: Interpreting the Divine Mystery, The Catholic Artist: The Divine Craftsman, and Saint Dominic and the Eighth Way of Prayer on YouTube.
